What We Do

In 2024, Pennsylvanians will vote for President, US Senator, Attorney General, Auditor General, State Treasurer, and Congressional and state legislative seats. With a historic election upon us, the first Black woman Speaker of the Pennsylvania House, and Black mayors of Pennsylvania’s largest cities, 2024 represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to maximize our collective impact and improve the quality of life of Black Pennsylvanians.

BLPA aims to improve the lives of Black Pennsylvanians by promoting a policy agenda that supports:

Black business growth and generational wealth creation
Public safety and quality of life in Black neighborhoods
Access to family-sustaining jobs with pathways to career advancement
